As an experienced and educated professional in the medical industry with the desire to help others, Charlotte Phillips (left) founded Oakleigh Medical Supply in October of 1999. It all began when Charlotte put herself through college to become a licensed nurse and certified Pedorthis. To date, the company has successfully developed from the ground up, along with operating out of its own office building. Charlotte has also successfully achieved CHAPS accreditation and state certification all while passing all Medicare on-site visits with flying colors. To continue her education, Charlotte often attends educational seminars for EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and regularly conducts board meetings to strengthen her company for current and future success. Along with her daughter, Kristen Jerkins (right), the two manage the day-to-day operations of the company and continue to travel throughout the Southeast region to spread the word of good health and spread their desire to help others.
Oakleigh Medical Supply is licensed by the State of Alabama and permitted to work under Jurisdiction C (Alabama and other neighboring states). The company also boasts an HME (Home Medical Equipment) license and is a certified Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield provider.
